Well the second meeting of the Kingsway Book Club has now been scheduled for 17th October (at 127 Woodvale) at 7.30pm.

The book we chose last time was This Book Will Save Your Life by AM Homes and some of us have even had time to read it… (Naughty Clare)!

Kingsway Literature Society - First Meeting

Ladies and Gentlemen… The first meeting of the Kingsway Literature Society (aka "The Book Club") will take place on Friday 5th September at 127 Woodvale at 7.30pm.

We are not high fliers or intellectuals, we are just normal people who like to read.
Come along and have a glass of wine (or OJ if you’re pregnant like me), while we talk about how to get a local book club off the ground.

Kingsway Book Club

I tried to start a book club in my old village but sadly there was little interest. They didn’t have a website and a leaflet drop didn’t generate a massive response.

As an avid reader I just wondered if this is something that would be of interest to other residents of Kingsway? If so, I would be pleased to host and manage it. I just need avid readers to come along and make it fun!
