Who Are The QUVL?

Quedgeley Urban Village Ltd (QUVL) is a consortium consisting of George Wimpey, Taylor Woodrow, Persimmon and Robert Hitchin’s.

QUVL‘s Responsibilities:

The consortium was created to project manage the Kingsway Village Development.

QUVL are responsible of the infrastructure works related to the construction of the main roads through the development (including associated streetlighting) and areas of public open space (including the main play areas and facilities). This includes management until adoption (eg: road sweeping, gritting, etc).

Areas that are not QUVL‘s responsibility:

Areas within the Developers Parcels (off the main roads), the local centre and its facilities, and the employment area (Framework Plan 5: See “Open Space & Facility Plan” below).

QUVL Complaints Procedure

Kingsway Residents are advised to contact the QUVL as follows:

In Jan’ 2010 The QUVL issued a new standard complaints procedure (Click Here To View).
On receipt of a complaint the QUVL will issue a complaints form (Click Here To View).

In July 2014, we were told:

"Residents experiencing trouble contacting the QUVL can call 396396 and ask the City Council to contact them on your behalf."

Kingsway Village Plans & Maps

In March 2015, the QUVL gave us the latest map (HERE).

In May 2015 they supplied us with the ‘missing piece’ (Parcel 4b) – HERE.

In November 2013 we were furnished with an update to the KD Plan (post) showing the progress on adoptions. This document will be updated periodically.
