Quedgeley Area Conservation Association
Hello Kingsway.
My name is Peter Ponting and I am the Chairman of QACA. We are a small but dedicated organisation, trying to save and protect the last remaining open spaces in Quedgeley.
It is groups like ourselves that have helped to change the views of Gloucester City Council, and make them think before they just bring in bulldozers.
We do need help in your area. We hold regular monthly meetings, (usually on a Sunday evening). Wine and beer is supplied and it is very informal. We have the support of Parish, City and County Councillors, and hold regular talks with the local Police. We also have a monthly feature in Quedgeley News.
We currently have over 70 members.
