Kingsway Residents Association – Public Meeting: March 23rd

Kingsway Residents’ Association is holding a public meeting today: Monday 23rd March, at 7:30pm in the Kingsway Community Centre.

This is your opportunity to hear what we have been doing over the last few months, as well as updating you on developments in Kingsway, and an opportunity to join the KRA Committee. Interested? Please apply to

    The minutes for this meeting have been completed. In summary:

    PCSO Sylvia Lane gave an update on Project Solace, reporting that "there were real no local problems, just complaints about youths
    hanging out by the local shops!"

    Holly Ford gave an update on Reachout! explaining that the scheme has been extended to include 11-18 year olds.

    QUVL Project Manager Andy Smith gave an update on adoptions, stating that most completed open space is now managed by Glos’ City Council, allotments are in progress (on target for late summer), all of Thatcham Avenue and the 1st part of Brize Avenue are adopted and the remainder of Brize Avenue, Goosebay Drive and the Buckingham Walk footpath are next.

    Representatives from the QPC, Glos’ City Council and Glos’ County Council gave an overview of the delineation of local services.
