What a Load of Rubbish

I’ve just spoken to the council and there will be no rubbish collection this week until Friday. They can’t catch up so just aren’t bothering to try!!
Can you post this up somewhere people can see it?

(For the benefit of those reading this in the future), “catch up” obviously refers to the fact that last weeks collection was missed due to the snow… Nothing unusual for this time of year, in fact it’s becoming something of a habit! The same thing happened in Christmas 2008 and Easter 2009!

Hi,
I was going to submit a post about the new bin collections.
Where I am on Kingsway we aren’t getting Green garden waste bins as its a new area and no-one has asked for them yet.
The Council told me if enough people request one they will consider extending the garden waste scheme to Kingsway – so if you want one you need to ring them up on 01452 396396 and tell them you would like the scheme extended!

Where I live (Thatcham Avenue) the green bins are collected fortnightly, so I’m guessing that the information relates specifically to your area of Kingsway.
Can you give an indication of where you are please?
