The Green Cycle
Created by CliveKingsway travel plan co-ordinator Sarah Fish is organising a Cycling Family Funday to celebrate European Mobility Week on Saturday 20th September.
Plans include a "free bike clinic" (for all ages), to help with minor mechanical problems and a demonstration of short and safe cycling routes (to local shops and Gloucester city).
The event is open – not only to Kingsway residents – but to anybody who wants to join in the fun, see Kingsway and help promote Kingsway’s “Green” Travel Plan.
European Mobility Week (September 16th to 22nd – 2008).
A full week of events dedicated to sustainable mobility will be held in more than 2,000 European cities and towns.

Kingsway’s "Green" Travel Plan
Is designed to promote walking, cycling, public transport and car-sharing and is the reason for the free bike and bus passes (available to every Kingsway household).
