You’re right. What I was trying to apologise for was the non-ideal nature in which it has been left to the last minute, rather than the venue itself, and you’re right to pull me up on it.

I too am very grateful for the assistance in getting this organisation off the ground and started!

I am at a loss as to why anyone would be put off attending the meeting due to the venue and also feel there is no need to apologise. I, for one, am grateful to Paul at Robert Hitchens for assisting me in finding a free of charge venue for this meeting, especially as the original publicised venue was never guaranteed in the first place.

I am looking forward to meeting all the residents who attend tomorrow.
