Leaflets and Progress (RA)

Just to let you all know progress, Clive and I have designed a basic leaflet and Bryan Claridge has very kindly taken on the printing of these things!

If things go as planned, I was hoping to have a walk around on the evening of the 28th May (Next Wed’) to hand them out to the village.

The only issue that has arisen is that if the Community Centre is open, it might not have furniture in it, so we may need to improvise!

The more people we can get to, the better it will be! Also getting flyers on notice boards etc would be good too!

    Hi Baz,

    Thanks for that :)

If the Community Centre is ready it will be awesome… I’m happy to sit on the floor :D

Next Wednesday is good for me (assuming Brian can get the leaflets done in time).

Do you know whio else will be helping us out with this? (Are the Councillors still going to join us)?

Anybody else who will be free and willing to assist us to distribute these leaflets will be most welcome… Please post a comment here if you think you can.

I contacted BBC Radio Gloucester about it but I haven’t heard anything back from them yet :( If I don’t hear within a week or so I’ll try again.

I will also contact The Citizen, The Quedgeley News, THQ mag’, Hardwicke Matters, Stroud News and - possibly - Severn Sound as soon as the date & venue are 100% firm (unfortunately I’m on a 2-week course at the moment so am unable to devote much time to it during the day)!

Folks, shall we say a preliminary time of 1930h at the small park on Wednesday!

This is on the proviso that Bryan has the leaflets, but i will try and confirm where we are tomorrow!

    Cheers
