What a real positive direction in order to support, and occupy youth energy. We Hope this takes-off, and every support is provided in order to allow you to grow as you offer youths more interests.

I attended the opening of the KWYP tonight and was great to see so many members there for the great occasion. I think that all involved with the opening, particularly knowing the hurdles they faced, should be rightly proud of the achievement.

Hi Baz,
My son tells me it was a good evening and is looking forward to having something to do now that the nights are drawing in.
I’ve created a new page for the Kingsway Youth Pod with details of opening times and up-coming events etc and also a Youth Pod Blog Category to which I’ve added all posts which mention the pod (for those interested in the history of the project and for future posts about the subject).

Is there an update of what is available or going to be available for the young people on Kingsway once the Youth Service changes on the 1st July. I understand that Equals has/is closing and part of the new service and therefore this will have an impact on the provision on the Kingsway if it hasn’t already.
Will the pod cease to be available for young people? If so is there anything in the pipeline to replace this?
Cheers

Hi Daisily,
Well there are some exciting plans for the future of Equals youth centre (which I’ll poass on soon), but the future of the Pod isn’t certain yet… I gather that it is staying and that several organisations are mulling over it’s future options, but I’ve heard nothing concrete… (watch this space – lol).
