Quedgeley Post Office
Created by Barry KirbyYou may have heard about the issues with the Quedgeley Post office, next to Tesco. I wanted to pass on what I knew about the latest status, as I think it’s quite important that we have this facility in Quedgeley.
In essence, the issue is not as simple, and certainly not as bad as we first thought. Parmjit Dhanda has been able to get assurances out of Tesco and the Post Office that they are both very keen to keep this Post Office open and there is now a 3 month Consultation period in which either see a deal done with McColls or a new franchise holder will be found.

Whatever happened to the new post office in Quedgeley? I know there was some delay in opening it late November 2010 but is it now open and if so where? or have I missed it!!

Its not open yet, the new owner is apparently having some issues sorting it out.
I believe they are hoping for it to be open by the summer, but have have heard things like this before so I don’t know.

I just wonder if it will ever open.
