JeniDee,

I'm hoping this isn't going to get your hopes up for no reason. We have had a cat matching your description visiting our house over the last few days.

From what I remember he is as you described and isn't wearing a collar which made me wonder if he were a stray. I haven't fed him or done anything to make him want to stay here but he does seem to keep coming back! For two days straight I have found him in my garden. He seems to be very friendly but I'm not a cat person so I haven't let him in the house or anything though my 2 year old son has been dying to stroke him.
I will keep a look out for him and call your number if I see him. I suppose it may not be him but hopefully it is because he does look lost!

Will hopefully be in touch soon,

I have seen a "strange" ginger outside of my house (in the car park and under the Ash tree between Kinloss and Thatcham) twice in the last few days... (I keep mistaking him for my ginger - lol). I tried to entice him to come closr but he was very skittish, so I couldn't get much of a closer look...

Does he have any distinguishing features (other than the chubby face)? I guess not or I'm sure you'd have mentioned it!

My brother once had a cat which got caught in the back of a van belonging to a guy from Ross on Wye who was visiting him. When the guy got home (to Ross) and opened the van the cat jumped out and tore off... 6 days later it arrived back home (Tredworth)! God only knows how it managed that but - so long as you don't get any bad news there's always hope :|

Thank you both, I appreciate your concern. Of course I don't mind you passing the message on, Clare - the more look-outs, the better.

I hope you don't mine Jeni but I've forwarded your message to a couple of people I know who live in Chivenor Way. They may be able to help. I'll keep a look out as I'm on Woodvale just at the end of Chivenor Way.
