Kingsway School News
Created by CliveYear 6 pupils from Kingsway School are getting together with the year 10 pupils from Beaufort School in a joint project to produce a "News Program" about Kingsway School & Kingsway Village.
The program will feature children and staff from the school as well as local parents and residents, and Mrs Bennett has asked me to invite local residents to take part, saying:
"We’re looking for input and opinions from anybody interested in giving positive feedback about the village and local area, and how we can work together to improve the local community."
If you’re interested, please call Kingsway School on 01452-881800 and let them know that you’d like to be involved.

This morning I spent a very pleasant hour at the school, being interviewed by the Year 6 pupils, which – I’ll admit, I was quite apprehensive about!
I sat in front of the class whilst the kids asked me some – very sensible and intelligent questions about the Village, the local community and this website, and I was – thankfully, able to answer (most of) them
The video program will be used to promote the school and the local area and once again, Mrs Bennett asked me to invite local residents to get in touch and take part in the project.

Mrs Bennett spoke to me today and asked me to publish a request.
The school are looking for 2 televisions (no bigger than 26-inch), to allow the pupils to see what’s going on when the video is being made… So:
If anybody has an old TV laying around and would like to donate it to the school for the year 6 children to use on this project, please contact Mrs Bennett at the school (01452-881800).

Clive
