Kingsway Residents Association AGM – 14th November 2012

Just a note to Highlight the Kingsway Residents Association AGM – this is where we elect the Committee for 2013 to continue the work we have been doing.
There are a number of spaces becoming available as a couple of people are standing down.
If you are interested in helping out then please do send your nomination (Name, Address) to me at barry@barrykirby.co.uk.
All that happens here is for people to join the committee, then the first committee meeting after the AGM is where the positions are sorted out by the committee itself.
In terms of commitment, there is a monthly meeting which is normally one evening in the week (whatever suits the committee) and then whatever else needs to be done to put on the events and the like. But if you want to know more, just shout and we can easily meet up for a chat, or an online chat or whatever.
If you would like to self-nominate, entries have to be in by 31st October 2012.

Hi All,
As an update, there are currently 4 residents who have already come forward to participate in the committee in 2012-2013.
I would encourage all residents, if you are thinking of getting involved in the community then please let me know as soon as you can just so if we are in a position to need a proper vote then that process can be planned and prepared as soon as possible.

There are just 20 days left to get your nominations in for the Kingsway RA Committee.

The AGM will be at Kingsway School at 7pm on 14/11, where the new RA Committee will be introduced.
Guest speakers will include Kingsway’s new Policing Team and the head of the new Primary School ("Kingsway 2") Martin Latham.
