I also objected and received a letter of confirmation. It isn't the hours themselves that I object to per se, it is the fact that even the existing ones are not adhered to! Let's see whether the objections carry any weight or is this just the "rubber stamping" process...

I received a letter from the planning department as well. I did object to the extension and today (16th May) received their letter saying that it will be passed on to their planning people. The more people who object the better, if only a few object the builders will get permission.

Thanks Bryan :)

I can see the application today... it reads:<em>"Contruction work and the delivery of materials shall be limited to the hours of 7.30am to 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday, and construction work or deliveries shall only take place on Sundays or Bank Holidays, with the exception of emergency repairs or connection works to public utilities, with the prior written consent of the Local Planning Authority."</em>

I will also be commenting. Although the immediate area around our house is finished there is still through traffic earlier and later than the published hours, although construction traffic is supposedly not allowed through the site. So despite being a very early riser I wouldn't want to see these hours extended as the existing hours are not being adhered to. Let's all get our comments in quick-smart!
