Older Mum Looking For Friends

I’m a new resident to Kingsway. I’ve been here for 6 weeks, having spent the last 3-years-plus in New Zealand.
We have a 2yr 6mth old and I am finding it hard to meet people with similar aged toddlers!
When I say I’m older, I’m only 45 so not quite so geriatric as this post might seem to indicate!
My attitude is that you are as old as the man you feel and my husband is only 34! 
I would love to hear from anyone that has a similar aged toddler and would like to meet up.

I hope you’re all coming along to The Big Lunch tomorrow (at the "Big Park"), there will be lots of activities for children and toddlers and it should be a great opportunity to meet other local mums.

I would like to say Hi and welcome to Kingsway. I hope you are settled and you’ve unpacked all your boxes (or have you put some in the attic that you never will unpack)?
I noticed your post when you first put it on the site but didn’t respond as I don’t have a young child (my son is 9, going on 19), however, after logging on today, it is a shame that no-one has responded
I hope you have managed to find some people with young children to socialise with. I know there are often things advertised in the Quedgeley news for families with children of all ages and this is due to be delivered in the next week or so.

Welcome to Kingsway, I don’t venture on here very much, but came along this morning and spotted your post. I have been here for nearly 12 months having moved from overseas too. I have 3 kids my youngest is almost 2. If you would like to get together for a coffee/tea that would be great. Anytime is good for me, however, I will be more available (only one child) after the schools return in September.
