Mysterious Noise

Hi, Can anyone help me out with something that is really bugging me?

There is a really weird noise that I hear about once a month on a Sunday morning about 2 to 3 am. It sounds like it is coming from the railway line (I live on Portreath Way and my bedroom window faces that direction). The noise involves a lot of rattling, shunting noises and a toot toot every now and again. It goes on for about an hour or so and wakes me up every time (obviously during summer when I have to have my window open).

I am not sure if it is on the railway line but there is also a noise that sounds like carriages being moved around.

It really bugs me because it always wakes me up as it is so noisy and goes on for some time.

Lyneham Drive Signpost

What is going on with the Lyneham Drive (hope I’ve spelled it correctly) signpost?
It was propped up behind a lamp post on Valley Gardens for ages. Now every morning I walk past it and it is either lying in the middle of the pavement or in various places. 

This morning it was right up near the play area past the new Children’s Centre. 

I don’t even know where Lyneham Drive is or why it was removed in the first place but it really should be put back where it belongs.

Lighting and Bus Shelters

I moved to Kingsway in August and have not managed to get hold of anyone at all to help me with any queries.  I have emailed Quedgeley Urban Village three times and have had no reply and I can’t get hold of anyone on the telephone.

I want to speak to someone about the fact that half of the lights down the split pedestrian/cycle path that runs down by the play area off Woodvale don’t work, and if – and when – they’re going to be fixed.
I walk down there every evening and it’s very dark. One night I nearly got hit by a cyclist (I was in on the pedestrian side and so was he, big suprise)!

Also are there any plans to put up bus shelters on Woodvale? It’s very bleak waiting there every morning in the wind and rain. 

Can anyone help me?
