Residents Association – Update

Thursday, July 10th, 2008 by Barry Kirby

Hi All,

Just a quick update on what the committee that you elected has been up to so far.

We have had our first meeting to determine what needs to be done to get the organisation up and running and have come up with a number of tasks to be done (creating a constitution, areas of possible funding, bank accounts, a terms of reference etc), as well as what we can do in the short term.  We have a couple of ideas for a couple of events to be held later in the year which we are looking into.  Finally we are trying to make contact with all the stakeholders who we may have a dialogue with in the future.

Thank you to everybody who has sent an email of support to our new address, it really is appreciated.

Finally, please don’t forget about the open meeting on the 8th August.  If you have a topic for the agenda, please send it to me to ensure it arrives a week before the meeting.  This gives us time to consider the issue and see if we can gather more useful information to contribute to the discussion.

Cheers

Barry

Lost Cat

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008 by JeniDee

Large, chubby-faced ginger and white tom (quite a lot of white) from Chivenor Way. No collar, but microchipped.

It is out of character for him to wander.

Please check your garages and sheds if you have opened them since Sunday (29 June) as he is very good at sneaking in unnoticed!

Please call 07952 663673 if you see him.
